Fall is Here!

I just love autumn! The colors here are spectacular. The rains have not yet begun, so we are enjoying quite the show. The kids are both doing great. Business has really picked up this month and Mark and I seem to be running in a million directions at once. Speaking of running..We are still doing that as well. We are by no means marathoners..But have been pretty consistent for quite some time now.
The kids and I are heading to the pumpkin patch tomorrow while Mark attends a mini men's retreat. We will have a short time of remembering Mark Everett later in the afternoon, then it will be on to our church's barn party.
I'm hoping to have some great pictures to share with everyone later next week!

Daniel is 10!

Here a just a few pics from Daniel's 10th birthday. It was a very fun day! We had mexican food at lunch and then spent the afternoon at Putters Miniature Golf and arcade.

Bandon Vacation

We've returned from a fabulous vacation to the Oregon Coast. We spent 2 nights camping in yurts at Bullard's Beach State Park. We had so much fun! Yurts look a little like Indian tepees. Inside, they are outfitted with a bunkbed and a futon, and most importantly, a heater!
We rode bikes along the coast up to the lighthouse. The weather was beautiful, in the low 70's. Here are just a few pictures from the trip.

September???

So when did September get here? Life continues to be busy. Daniel continues to be healthy! School starts next week. Soooo...more work for Mom and Dad! Josh actually starts school on Friday. They have their first away game..should be a good one.
Katie has been very busy babysitting all summer. She's managed to put away a few pennies.
Mark and I haven't had as much time to run. I did get in a quick 2 miles this morning. Jenna enjoys the morning runs. When school starts our running schedule will really get crazy.
I'm still doing Weight Watchers..or at least trying. Hopefully once school starts and we are in a routine it will be easier. Mark has his hands full with the company and the impending name change. We are looking forward to rolling out the new look October 1.

So here's Josh taking a much needed water break. His debut in Saturday's scrimmage was pretty impressive. The first time he had his hands on the ball he ran it in for a touchdown. The scrimmage was short, only 45 minutes. Josh had 3 carries for 75-80 yards. It's going to be a very fun season for him.

Still Here!

Just to let you all know I haven't disappeared. Things have been very busy around here. Josh is now living with us. That is going great. The kids just love him. Between running him to football and getting him established with a new school...and getting my kids schooling figured out...and trying...albeit..not very well to help Mark at the plant....life is just plain busy! But...we are all having fun. It won't be long before Debbie and her family..and Dineen and her family will be living in Eugene as well. That's about all I have time for today. Daniel's health is excellent. I'm off to run errands all over town! I will try to update soon with some pictures.

August 16th

So much happening in our world. There are two more Charest members moving to Eugene. My sister Dineen and her family, and my sister Debbie and her family. Our nephew will be playing football for one of the local high schools. It has been a very busy summer with just absolutely wonderful weather!
Mark has been very busy running the plant while I try to keep things going here at home. The kids are enjoying their summer break and spend most of their time with friends from the neighborhood.
Daniel has now been healthy for over 12 weeks! What a joy!
